The duo of composer/pianist Anthony Pateras and computer based sound artist
Robin Fox has been in a state of constant development for around three years.
Developing a strong reputation in Melbourne for delivering consistently energized
and compelling performances, early experiments with found and constructed
instruments have morphed into sophisticated explorations that focus on spontaneous
composition and the real time processing of improvised sonic objects.
Manipulating the unique combination of analog electronics, voice, microphones,
objects and laptop, instantaneous transformations influence future actions
resulting in a generative or recursive compositional feedback loop.
Additionally, the duo is playing in multi-channel configurations that allow for
real-time diffusion wherever possible, creating immersive improvisational
environments generated in real-time. The duo´s critically acclaimed debut
